* I'm a professional music teacher and teach guitar, bass, keyboard, vocal, songwriting and recording lessons at my home studio. I specialize in what I call GIRLS ROCK! lessons, empowering girls through music. Please contact me through this website for more information!
* I'm the founder of MN's first Girls Rock Camp: Girl's Rock N Roll Retreat (GRRR), and we're preparing for our sixth year of camps next summer! You can also check out our facebook and youtube pages.
* I'm the co-founder of a new non-profit organization called She Rock She Rock. Our mission is to empower girls and women through the art of music. We're now getting ready to hold our first Ladies Rock Camp, a three day experience for women 19+ who want to learn or improve their skills on their instruments, learn songwriting and play in a band. In addition, we're hosting a bi-monthly all-women/girl jam at Java Jack's in South Minneapolis. Go to the Girls Rock n Roll Retreat website for more details!
* I'm a staff songwriter for an awesome non-profit organization called Songs of Love. We write and record personalized songs for children and teens currently facing tough medical, physical or emotional challenges, free of charge. I'm still crankin' em out every spare second I have, and still lovin' it! Songs of Love is facing tough economic times these days, and have had to cut down on the number of children they can help, so any donations would be greatly appreciated. If you're interested, you can help Songs of Love with a donation of cash or by donating your used car.
* The Snaps just released our debut album, "Spokes and Wires and Shiny Words". We had a lot of good press in the Star Tribune and City Pages, and just played an awesome CD release show a few months back. You can buy our CD here. Another band I'm in, Run At The Dog, is in the process of releasing our first CD too. Stay tuned for more details.
* I'm also playing with the following: R&B cover band In2ition, eclectic guitarist Terry Eason, singer/songwriter Courtney Yasmineh, and am excitedly in the process of putting together a Rush 2112 tribute!?!?!
